Amarinder is the Chief Involvement Officer at CIO Association of India (CAI) which was established in 2008 with a vision to connect each and every CIO across the country. CAI is one of India’s most value adding organization for CIOs and senior IT decision makers, focusing primarily on the CIO Leadership Journey via its several independent initiatives such as CIO Academy (in partnership with ISB, Hyderabad), CIO Research Centre and India’s Best CIOs: a unique peer recognition CIO Community Awards Program. Amarinder also runs Open Coffee Club, Bangalore a strong grassroots community of early stage entrepreneurs and start-up enthusiasts as his second life. Prioir to his current roles Amarinder was developing India market for CoreObjects. Previously as a co-founder of Prospect Force (a next generation niche virtual B2B BPO startup in 2006) he was the Director of Delivery and India Operations. He started his career with Tata InfoTech and post his B-School education, he contributed to Kale Consultants and Cashtech in predominantly Business Development and Account Management roles. He did his Electronics & Communication Engineering from Delhi Institute of Technology and Masters of Business Administration from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi.
